The Official Tour

Let us finally give you the official tour!

The Switzen Apartment complex - and Aliza
(looking west)

The rice paddies in our 'back yard' - and Aliza
(looking south)

The entrance

Building 104

in the elevator on our way to the 10th floor

Welcome to apartment #1002!
the entryway - and Aliza

looking back at the entryway - and Aliza
we really like our big mirror!

Aliza's bathroom

which is across the hall from Aliza's bedroom (thank goodness she's a girl!  I don't think a boy would be able to fall asleep surrounded by this wallpaper - lots and lots of chairs).

standing in between her bedroom and bathroom
looking down the hallway - second bedroom on the left which we're not using at the moment (it has a bed for visitors!)
Then the living room on the left and kitchen/dining area on the right.

a few items to make it our own

The dining area

We usually don't stink, so I'm pretty sure we have it figured out!

Kitchen (in case you couldn't tell)

The living room/play room/office

Our view out the living room window - the same rice paddies Aliza is posing near above.
These are also the 'mountains' we like to hike in.  Way too many trails to explore in just one year!  Koreans LOVE to hike.  We do too, so it works out great!

Lots of playing goes on here

standing at the other end of the hallway - to the left a 3rd (also unused) bedroom and to the right the master bedroom - and Aliza, of course

Looking into the master bedroom - be sure to get a good look at the super cool wallpaper in this room

We usually have clothes drying on those racks.  We didn't want to find out from experience, but apparently it takes about 3 hours and $20 to dry a load of clothes.  So, we're doing as the Koreans do.

The master closet and bathroom

our fancy toilet!

And just for good measure:
our church (which we're really enjoying!)

 and our beautiful beater:
1994 Hyundai Sonata II Gold
